Under this recruitment, UPPSC have decided to fill 250 vacant posts in the whole state. The official notification for the exam has been released by UPPSC on 16th March 2022. Online purposes have also been began since then. Since then, many and eligible candidates have applied for the posts.

UPPSC PCS Exam Pattern 2022

There have been 3 phases in the selection process of UPPSC PCS Exam 2022. In the first stage there will be preliminary exam, there will be 2 totally different papers. These papers are General Studies 1 (150 Marks), General Studies 2 (CSAT) (100 Marks). In the mains exam there will be 8 totally different papers. These papers are General Hindi (150 Marks), Essay (150 Marks), General Studies 1 (200 Marks), General Studies 2 (200 Marks), General Studies 3 (200 Marks), General Studies 4 (200 Marks), Optional Subject Paper 1 (200 Marks) and Optional Subject Paper 2 (200 Marks). In the interview spherical, there will be a personal interview spherical of 100 Marks.

The 2 papers of preliminary exams are General Studies 1 and General Studies 2 (CSAT). These papers are of 150 Marks and 100 Marks Respectively. The time given to complete every exam will be 2 hours. There will be 150 multiple selection questions in general research 1 whereas 100 multiple selection questions in general research exam 2. One mark will be given for every appropriate reply. There will be no negative marking in the exam for leaving a clean reply however there will be negative marking for incorrect reply. .33 marks will be deducted for every incorrect reply.
