This new rule has been applied through State Bank of India to make the facility of withdrawing cash from ATMs safe. According to these new rules applied by SBI, no buyer can do transaction with ATM card without OTP. Customers are also required to carry their mobile telephone with them to transact at ATMs.

Through State Bank of India, this rule has been applied for all its clients that they can do transactions of quantity of 10 thousand rupees or more only on the foundation of OTP. For this, OTP number will be despatched to the buyer’s mobile number to withdraw money from ATM through the financial institution. By verifying the OTP number, the buyer will be given an opportunity to transact an quantity of Rs 10,000 or more under the ATM. This initiative has been began by SBI to make this banking companies safe.
